yesterday, watching KBS lie around 11++pm.
saw Eva from suju the Fullhouse show on a reality show!
it's called "Chitchat of the beautiful ladies".
:D SHUPER NICE.
i missed out the front part, but the part i watched was nice.
they showed a man smiling, and also crying.
then, they asked the guests like in their country, how they draw smiley faces.
so they asked the westerners to draw first.
then many of them drew ":) / :(" , "=( / =)"
then they asked a professor to comment and explain some stuff.
he said that like westerners are more direct.
like example, if they love someone, they'll juz say "i love you"
but we easterners are less direct. and we show our emotions, not tell.
so tads why we are better in reading ppl's expressions and can pick out fake smiles easily.
HAH. i totally love that explanation.
we asians are so GOOD!!!
yay~
no wonder when i watched an american show called "Brainiac"
then it's like they show u whether u can pick out the person who's really laughing.
then i was like "this is so easy, why did they say it's not"
ya, anw, then they showed the easterners drawings.
they're like more detailed.
one drew "^^"
and T.T, U.U, and like other stuff that i can't seem to type on the com.
and they had malaysians on the show!!!!
no Sings!! :( sad.
they also showed like how ppl exchange cards.
like in russia ppl juz give and say "call me" and go,
but koreans muz like give and bow and then comment on the card
like say "ooh, it's shiny" and stuff.
then the guests (westerners + easterners) said that like when koreans say "i'll call u back later"
they dun mean it, and they might call back like 6 hrs later.
and like when they say "hey, let's go for dinner 2mr", they are like juz saying and might not really mean it. so like the guests feel like it's like making them confuse.
but i was thinking like "hey, aren't we Sings like that?" ^^
on of the guests like say when she wants to talk bout sth, her boss says later, but nvr tell her when. so she feels that like if say later, when's the later?
haha, but i feel that we are also like that.
then got one russia girl said that like in her country, ppl are like direct in talking.
if sth is bad, they juz say it.
but koreans muz like twist their words.
like "it's nice, but u shld change it"
then she say she dun like it.
but the malaysian guy said he likes their way of talking, coz it's like a form of art, and u can refuse someone sth without hurting them.
:D aren't we Sings sometimes like that too?
